What happened to March?
03/04/08
It just flew by.
Two projects through the door last month involved a couple of DVD's from the Discovery Channel, one on custom cars, the other on tattoos. All we needed was a third on cribs for the box set!
April's looking good with lots of new and exciting projects in the pipeline. It's getting pretty backed up at the moment so fingers crossed they don't all happen at once.
Studio soundtrack this past month revolved around continued spins of new Why? album 'Alopecia'. Amazing. Also new LP's from Foreign Born, Stephen Malkmus and last years 'My Last Day' by Kim Hiorthøy kept the fingers tapping.
Also stumbled across this little Jem Cohen film on Elliot Smith. Two very talented individuals...

Davey La in London
12/02/08
Davey La was over from NYC this past week for his debut UK solo acoustic appearance. We caught up with him to discuss album ideas, listen to some great new tracks and to get crazy drunk. We also bagged a few samples of the Points designed single too (see the selected folio section).

New to old to new again

The thought of dumping old machines just seems criminal so once replaced they sit unused, resigned to a future as dust collectors, door props and foot stools.
But not any more... www.computersforcharities.org/recycled want your old macs. After a little tlc they get sent to african schools so future designers can start to learn DTP and various other computer related skills. So whilst we succumb to the constant need to upgrade at least the conscience can be appeased in some small way.

As if by magic...

A website appears.
Thanks to Paul for all the web development work, Sanna and Jasper for lending a hand or two along the way and for showing patience during a rather long session at their Goldsmid Photographic Studio. If you are ever stuck with photoshop call Jasper, the man's a genius. To Marie for timely advice and Ali for some camera action. Lastly to Justine, without whom this website would still be just a scribble at the bottom of a never ending list.
